Meet Dr. Firisin

I have been where you are and I know what it is like. I suffered with chronic illness from the time I was a child.  Starting to lose hope, I began working with a naturopathic doctor and explored a natural approach that restored many aspects of my health. Naturopathic medicine’s principles and techniques have helped me to reverse PCOS, eliminate thyroid medication, manage chronic Lyme disease and maintain my overall wellbeing.

Inspired by my own doctors and mentors, I knew there was more I was being called to do. I left my first career as a physical therapist to pursue my Naturopathic medical degree. After several years building a thriving practice in the Phoenix area, I moved back to Fairfield County to be closer to family, friends, and the beloved coastline, opening my practice here in 2017.

My unique experience of 20 years of hands on experience coupled with my passion for educating patients allows for a deeper understanding of how to help people heal and live a life free of symptoms.

In this ever-changing world, health has never been more important. You are here because you are motivated to feel and live better. I am here because of my passion for educating patients to help their bodies heal. It would be my honor to guide you on your journey to better health.

I started seeing Dr. Firisin for digestive health issues...after a few months of weaning off of Pantaprazole (I was on it for 10 years) I am cured... the right supplements and changing my diet was the winning combo...I would not have been able to do this without Dr. Firisin.

As a first time mom, I am especially grateful for Dr. Firisin’s help with my toddler son...her approach to children is above and beyond...she’s quick to respond and really helped me feel at ease when he was sick….
